        This program doesn't utilize the registry in any way, so you can just trash the folder
        if you want to get rid of it.
        This program was written with Borland C++ Compiler version 5.5.1.
        Task-switching is not supported (the game will close itself if you do)

        Real Time Simulation + Shooting

Object of the game

        Acting as commander, the object of the game is to defeat the enemy Earth Armies in
        space battle. There is no ending to this game. Even if you claim 100% of the territory,
        the game will not end. By defeating the enemies you gain territory, and when your own
        units are defeated you lose territory. Depending on the result of battle, your army's
        power will increase, and you can power up your weapons and units.
        A maximum of 600 units can fight at once in realtime.

Armament phase

        In Armament phase, you can pick the following commands.
        You can select with the arrow keys and make selections with S (Button 1)
        In order to buy a single unit you need 50 Battle Power.
        Powerups' costs vary on the level.

	BUY 100 UNITS		...	Buy 100 friendly units.
	BUY FULLUNITS		...	Replenish your units entirely (or as many as you can afford)
	BACK			...	Go back.

	These are the commands for IMPROVE

	POWER UP WEAPON		...	Raise your unit's attack power

Battle phase

        During Battle Phase, you take care not to let your unit get blown up, and either
        destroy the enemy or retreat. If your side has any battleships, then they will
        launch new units at preset intervals so long as they have units to spare. If they
        don't have units to spare or have let out their maximum limit, they won't launch
        any more. The maximum limit depends on the number and type of your battleships.
        Your own unit will be accompanied by several escorts. The number of escorts vary
        depending on how many times you have entered battle.

        The game will work with a joystick or control pad.
        You can pick your keyboard keys in the options. (see below)

	Battleship movement display

	When the mouse cursor is displayed and you click on a friendly battleship, you
	select that battleship. Then when you click the area you want to move the ship
	to, it will start moving.

	Using Battleship Commands

	When a battleship is selected, the Space button will use that ship's special ability.
	You can only use an ability once per battle per ship type. In addition, the affect of
	that ability works on all ships of the same time.
	There are ships without special abilities, or those whose abilities work automatically.

	About Commands

	While holding down [W](button 2), commands will be displayed in the lowe-left part of
	the screen. While holding down the key/button and pressing up or down, you can pick a
	command. Releasing the key/button will enact that command. Escort units are not affected.


		ATTACK	...........	Order to nearby units. Attack (move to target)
	    	DEFEND	...........	Order to nearby units. Defend (remain in place and attack)
		DEPARTURE..........	Order to all ships. Permit launch of units.
		STOP	...........	Order to all ships. Stop launching units.
		RUSH	...........	Order to all ships. Attack (move to target)
		STANDBY	...........	Order to all ships. Defend (remain in place and attack)
		RETREAT	...........	Order to all ships. Retreat.
		CANCEL	...........	Cancel command.

	STANDBY and RUSH cannot be used in the first minute of battle.
	When you order a retreat, you will retreat after a set period of time.
	If you want to cancel the order to retreat, you can pick another command to do so.
	Use this if it looks like your side is going to lose. You will lose less territory this
	way than if your own unit had been destroyed.

	Units that remain still gradually regain their life.
	This is the case for both friends and enemies.

	If you want to change the key mappings, then check the box that says "Change key mappings"
	The keys will change to the following alternate configuration.

		[S](Shoot)...[X]		[D](Hold)...[C]
		[A](Subweapon)...[Z]		[W](Command)...[A]

After-Battle Bonus

	Depending on the results of your fighting, you will get a bonus. (unit supplement
	and Battle Power points) If you won the battle, then your area of control will expand, and
	if you lost, it will decrease. The more enemies you defeated, the greater the Battle Power you
	will gain. In addition after battle you will gain supplementary units.
	In the case you do not have enough, then spend your battle power in the Armament phase.
	After Battle Phase, pilots that did not participate in the battle will be healed 40%, and those
	that did will be healed 10%. If a unit is damaged above 50%, then it will not be able to enter
	the battle in the next turn.
	If your own unit is shot down, then it will theoretically take two turns before you can enter
	the battle again.

	(Note 1) The bazooka has some homing ability.
	(Note 2) The Sniper Rifle has an auto-aiming ability.

Sub Weapon

	By raising your Development level, the number of Subeweapons you can equip will increase.
	When you use each Subweapon, your internal heat levels will rise, and if they get high, it will
	slow your energy replenishment. When you don't use the weapon, your heat levels will slowly
	decrease.

	Each unit can use 1 Funnel apiece. Even if the Funnel survives, you cannot retrieve it.

Universal Liberation Army (Friends)

	Gungnir
		Command Unit. Gyaran's primary unit.
		A specially customized Baltina.
		High-performance, but puts great stress on the pilot.

	Alestania
		Command Unit. Ryu and Sara's unit.
		A souped-up Gungnir with much greater mobility at the price of armor.
		Equipped with a Field Generator, and can create a Beam Barrier Field.

	Omega Deal
		Command Unit. Farna's Unit.
		The  type was originally designed as a nuclear, but with the after the nuclear-ban
		treaty, was re-engineered into the  type.

	Omega Deal
		Command Unit. Eliza's Unit.
		A Humanoid nuclear attack-type unit.
		With thick, anti-nuclear armor it has great defense, but is not very mobile.
		The nuclear-ban treaty was signed because of this unit's nuclear strikes on the Earth.
		The overarching reason for this was that the nuclear contamination of Earth would be bad
		for those that lived in space, which is naturally resource-poor.
		In the current battle it is being used to take control of the Moon base.
		If the Moon's Mass Driver is taken, then it will be easy to launch strikes on the Earth,
		and thus it would be as good as taken over.

	Sigma rr`
		A modified Alestania. A guard unit.
		It is equipped with powerful weapons: a high-speed beam gun and missiles.

	Baltina
		All-purpose humanoid unit. It was originally a robot designed for moving cargo. Its
		performance is on the same level as the Masquerade. One of the Liberation Army's weapons.
		Like the Masquerade, it was also developed by Albatross Corporation. While Albatross is
		secretly employed by the Earth Federation, it illegally ships the the Baltinas to the
		Liberation Army for their own profit. Officially, Cobalt Corporation is said to have
		developed it, while Albatross is merely selling them wholesale.

	Radius-Class Battleship		(POOOO)
		Your basic Battleship with average performance. Has a cannon.

	Axdiehl-class Assault Vessel		(SOOOOO)
		A new model ship with high performance in all areas. Is equipped with a high-caliber

Earth Federation (Enemy Army)

	Phalanx
		A black-colored ship designed for use by mercenaries.
		It is equipped with a high-powered beam rifle and multi-missiles.
		There are those equipped with Scyllas instead of Missiles.
		
	Carbine
		A unit designed for use by elite soldiers, but there is only one that has been deployed.
		It is equipped with a huge Megabeam rifle and autonomous robotic attack units.

	Masquerade
		Humanoid weapon. Originally a robot designed for moving cargo. 
		Previousl units used aircraft-style rear-propulsion systems, but were ill-suited for
		space combat, so after extensive testing the Masquerade was officially adopted as the
		next-generation, base combat unit that forms the main forces of the army.
		Depending on its equipment, it can be used for any sort of mission.

	Etherdius
		Large mobile weapon. With its Megablaster Cannon as its primary weapon, it is used
		for medium-range support. While it is quite large, its eight thruster modules give
		it high mobility. These thruster modules are controlled automatically, so they can
		be detached and used as automatic interceptors.

	Duneis
		Anti-aircraft interceptor missile cannon.
		Fires small but very powerful anti-aircraft missiles rapidly.

	Gariateres
		Extreme-range Photon weapon.
		A long-range laster that can fire from outside the field of battle.

	Santigore-Class destroyer vessel
		A destroyer vessel.
		Its primary weapon is 4 multi-missile tubes. Has low capacity.

	Tennessee-class First-class Battleship.
		Comprises the main bulk of the fleet.
		A battleship with average abilities.

	Ginger-Class Aircraft Carrier
		A Huge Aircraft carrier.
		It was developed to be a mobile base of operations for combat command. Its capacity
		and anti-aircraft abilities far outstrip those of average battleships.
		Because they are prohibitively expensive, there aren't many of them.
